DBi Technologies maakt een complete reeks controls (ActiveX componenten) en een bijzonder mooie verzameling business components voor VS6. Recent is deze reeks aangevuld met de nodige componenten voor het .NET platform.

Component Toolbox 6.0 has XP Styles, new gradient fills, a multi-column ListBar, ToolBar navigation, Date / Time and Data Edits, Lists and Tree Views !

Written in Visual C++, this bundle consists of sixty (60) fast and powerful ActiveX components:

Animation (4) : Create unique branding and set your User Interfaces apart from the every-day with simple, effective animations with these components:  ctBanner, ctClip, ctDial, ctMove. 

Calendars (3)  : Time is a sensitive issue and using the right calendar components can make a huge difference.  Create your own style and calendar presentations with: ctDate, ctMonth, ctYear.

Dialogue (7) : There are quicker and simpler ways to make calls to Windows dialogues. Use DBI's dialogue controls for perfect end-user interaction and the least amount of programming with: ctColorButton, ctColorCombo, ctColor, ctCPick, ctFile, ctFont, ctPrint. 

Edit/Input (4) : Inputting and editing data is eventually what application development is all about. Add effective user interfaces with: ctCheck,  ctDEdit, ctMEdit, ctNEdit.

 ctColorButton : Is a button control with a drop down color palette. The palette consists of sixteen colors and a button that can be used to call the color common dialogue. The selected color will be placed into the middle of the button.

ctColorCombo :  Is a color combo-box object providing an easy way for users to choose colors from a drop down list. The component provides 16 predefined colors. Developers can define up to 32,000 colors of their own.

ctCombo : Is an enhanced combo-box component designed for data entry with full features supporting: 

 ctCombo has been design is to provide the utmost in performance under heavy and light data volume situations bring the same presentation and functionality of your favorite browser to your own projects. 

 ctDEdit : Is the perfect masked edit control for date and time entry as well as presentation. Supporting international time formats, ctDEdit provides the developer with a choice of either a twelve hour clock or a twenty-four hour clock. In addition, pre-defined date formats are compatible with all regions of the world. The ctDEdit component provides fully featured date and time masked edit functionality combined with graphically diverse presentation styles.

 ctDropMenu : ctDropMenu creates and displays drop-down or popup menus. A variety of display options are available in the control including the ability to add pictures, text, sub-text, background, and text colors for each item. The initial menu can be placed in any position on the screen.

 ctFrame : ctFrame is a container object making it easy to create boxes, title bars, or container objects with a variety of different border effects. This frame object has inner and outer borders which may be hidden. Additionally, ctFrame will host child objects, making it easy for the developer to manage the layout of complex groups of objects.

ctGroup : ctGroup is an enhanced group box component designed as a container for child controls.

ctList : ctList is designed for high volume data environments where performance, compatibility and functionality are must have requirements for enterprise and commercial software development.  ctList is enhanced with extensive presentation, interaction, and print functionality. Functionality includes:

ctListBar : ctListBar is a multi-column navigation component similar to Microsoft's^R OutlookT and Visio list bars. ctListBar displays sets of sliding lists; each list containing its own group of items. An item can be represented with text and/or an image (icons or bitmaps). Clicking on a list bar button slides the selected list and its items into view. When there are more list items in a list than can be displayed within the object, navigation buttons are automatically displayed allowing the end-user to scroll hidden items.

ctMEdit : ctMEdit is a mask-edit text entry box component. ctMEdit provides a flexible data mask interface for validating or formatting text at the point of input or display. ctMEdit can be set to display its built-in drop button and spin button. Other objects such as a calculator control can be combined with this component to easily create a drop-down combo object. ctMEdit supports simple data binding through its Text property.

ctMonth : ctMonth is a highly customizable month view component that provides sophisticated visual flexibility and built in functionality. The control can be configured to support a limitless set of month-view presentations and user interactions. The component provides extensive control over graphical presentation including independent colors, text, and graphics for each date.

ctNEdit : ctNEdit is an enhanced numeric edit component capable of displaying integers, real or floating point values, and real numbers in a currency format. ctNEdit can be set to display its built-in drop button and spin button. Other objects such as a calculator control can be combined with this component to easily create a drop-down combo object. ctNEdit supports simple data binding through its Text property.

ctPush : ctPush is an enhanced picture push button. ctPush incorporates all of the usual features and functions of an ordinary command button. Plus, ctPush can be implemented with text and/or an image, set accelerator keys, default state, cancel state, toggled states, masked bitmaps, and multiple bevel sizes.

ctSpin : ctSpin is a spinner-button component that accepts input for incrementing or decrementing values. It provides the developer with the ability to quickly add spin-button functionality to any object. ctSpin is fully runtime modifiable making it easy to configure programmatically.

ctToolBar : ctToolBar is a horizontal toolbar and menu component displaying a series of buttons used to create a toolbar. Toolbar buttons may be set with a variety of styles such as regular, drop down, toggle, and separators. In addition to displaying text, buttons can also display images from ctToolbar's internal image list. Tool tips and drop-down menus may also be assigned to individual buttons.

ctTree : ctTree is an enhanced hierarchical tree / outline control with extensive presentation, interaction, and print functionality ideal for displaying document headings, index entries, file directory structures, and any other information that can be organized in a hierarchical format. This control is ideal for high volume data environments where performance, compatibility and functionality are must-have requirements for enterprise and commercial software development.

The ctTree component consists of a series of node objects. Each node may have its own text (or label), bitmaps, check boxes and radio buttons. Each node item in the list may also have subordinate items or children. These children are represented as indented levels. When a parent item is expanded, its immediate child items become visible. When the parent item is collapsed, child items are hidden.
